Everyday, I walk my dog Churro around the neighborhood. She’s one of the frankendoodles who requires too much of our attention and a lot of exercise. So like clock work, everyday at 7AM and 5PM, this girl gets a 30 minute walk. Past Shannon hated it, because it meant early mornings or an abrupt stop to the work day.

Small business owner, Shannon, well, she loves it. I love getting an hour of movement in after spending the day at a computer. But more importantly, I love an hour of listening to terrible audio books as I walk through my neighborhood.
Ever since we moved to Pleasanton, I’ve been walking a similiar path each day. And each day it leads me through the cutest kids park ever. One filled with a playground, a community garden, a trail, soccer fields and so much more. And I know, a lot of people when they hear local park, they kind of turn their head. Because it feels like a basic location.

I’m one of those photographers who truly believes that sometimes for family photos, you don’t need these epic locations, you just need your cute family, some fall colors and of course great lighting. And thats the first that crosses my mind everytime I walk through this park, is that it’s got gorgeous colors and the best sunset light.
I’ve spent almost a year being inspired by this little park – so I was so excited that so many people signed up to do their mini family sessions here.
This year, I offered a pay what you can mini session. These were ten minute sessions for anyone who wanted new photos. During these sessions, I saw some old families who gifted sessions to others, I saw new families who were excited for the opportunity and I met folks who have had a really tough year. I am so thankful that all of you trusted me with your memories and that we could find a way to get some gorgeous photos of you all this year.
Check them out!

I only offer mini sessions twice a year. But I do have regular old family photos year round, feel free to reach out to learn more.
Wedding days end, newborns become toddlers, and parents become grandparents. These moments go by so fast. You deserve to live fully in them, to be present, and then relive them through imagery that tells your story. Photography is more than just a picture, it’s a way to document your history. These are the good old days. Let me help you remember them.

I believe every story deserves to be seen, felt & remembered.
Photographer, dog mom, book hoarder, and Trader Joe’s loyalist. I’m a Pisces, an ENFJ, and an Enneagram 3, which basically means I feel everything, care deeply, and always have a running to-do list (with color coding).
These days, I’m also figuring out life as a new mom — balancing baby snuggles with camera gear and reminding myself to slow down and soak it all in. I’ve built a career out of noticing the details, chasing the light, and turning everyday moments into art.
