Beylee and Marcus were all set to tie the knot at San Francisco City Hall, but Mother Nature had other plans. The week of their wedding, the Bay Area was hit with heavy rains and dangerous road conditions, prompting notifications to stay off the road for safety reasons.
With their family and friends traveling to attend their wedding, canceling was not an option. So, within 48 hours, the couple made the tough decision to reschedule the city hall ceremony and move the wedding closer to their home on the Peninsula.
Thanks to their quick thinking and flexibility, Beylee and Marcus still managed to create a memorable and meaningful wedding day that they will cherish forever.

As the couple scrambled to make last-minute changes, they decided to get ready at the luxurious Palo Alto Crowne Plaza hotel. The hotel provided a stunning backdrop for the couple’s getting-ready photos and allowed them to relax and prepare for their special day in style.
With the city hall ceremony canceled, Beylee and Marcus needed a new location for their wedding ceremony. They found the perfect spot at Vino Enoteca, a charming Italian restaurant and wine bar in Palo Alto.
The intimate and cozy atmosphere of the restaurant made for a warm and welcoming ceremony. The happy couple exchanged their vows surrounded by close family and friends, making it an unforgettable experience.

Despite the bad weather, Beylee and Marcus were determined to have some outdoor portraits to remember their special day. Thankfully, there was a brief break in the clouds that allowed their photographer to capture some beautiful shots of the couple in natural light.
Beylee and Marcus may not have had the wedding day they originally planned, but they proved that a little rain can’t dampen true love. With their flexibility, resilience, and positive attitude, they turned a potentially stressful situation into a beautiful and unforgettable wedding day.
If you’re planning a wedding, remember to expect the unexpected and be open to change. With the right mindset and a little help from your loved ones, you can create a day that you’ll cherish for the rest of your life.

I believe every story deserves to be seen, felt & remembered.
Photographer, dog mom, book hoarder, and Trader Joe’s loyalist. I’m a Pisces, an ENFJ, and an Enneagram 3, which basically means I feel everything, care deeply, and always have a running to-do list (with color coding).
These days, I’m also figuring out life as a new mom — balancing baby snuggles with camera gear and reminding myself to slow down and soak it all in. I’ve built a career out of noticing the details, chasing the light, and turning everyday moments into art.
