I’ve had the joy of photographing Julie and Mike through so many milestones — from college graduation to couples photos, their engagement session, and finally their wedding day. These two have such a creative vision, and it’s always a treat getting to work with them.

For their wedding, they rented a beautiful Airbnb tucked in the foothills of San Jose, California. The morning started with hail, heavy showers, and a lot of concern about how the day would unfold. With tents set up, umbrellas ready, and hand warmers close by, they prepared for the weather. But just 30 minutes before the ceremony, the rain stopped, and the skies cleared.

With the storm behind them, Julie and Mike celebrated with their closest people at an intimate reception filled with heartfelt toasts, a choreographed first dance, cake cutting, and so much love. It was a beautiful day for two truly wonderful people.
